THE EFFECT OF REACT STRATEGY-BASED INSTRUCTION ON 11TH GRADE STUDENTS' ATTITUDES AND MOTIVATIONS

<p>The aim of this research is to examine the effect REACT (relating, experiencing, applying, cooperating, transferring) strategy-based instruction on 11th grade students' attitudes towards biology science and course their motivation context-based biology. The was used quasi-experimental method. sample consisted 50 students attending a randomly determined public school. 'Biology Science Course Attitude Scale' 'Context-Based Biology Motivation as data collection tools. Descriptive statistics (arithmetic mean, standard deviation etc.), independent samples t-tests ANCOVA analysis were in data. According findings, statistically significant differences emerged favour experimental group between pre-test post-test scores obtained from attitude scales, these findings interpreted positive teaching variables.
